Spring Forward

Wow, life changes so fast doesn't it? And yet, I feel like I never change. I look back, and it kind of seems like the same things make me happy, I still struggle with the same bad habits, and still hope for the same dreams. I don't think this is a bad thing or a good thing necessarily, just an observation. So an update on some things in my life is due.
One thing I noticed is that I have never mentioned my puppy!! She's not a puppy. She is 5 years old, her name is Izzy, she is some sort of Shetland-Schipperke mix, and she is very smart, and has wonderful manners, and is a bit of a princess. She doesn't particularly like the outdoors, and always stays on the paved sidewalk if there is one. She doesn't play fetch or bark or really do much "doggy" stuff at all. But she does lick a lot, and she's a pretty great cuddler. I feel bad because I leave her alone a lot cause I'm at work all day. I wish I could find a place that would let me bring her to work with me. I swear she would literally just sleep under my desk all day. :)
I still have the same best friend that I've had for over 3 years now, although I haven't really talked about her much, but she was in that bible study I talked about. We go to church together (well, if I ever had a Sunday where I could actually make it to church, we would :) and that pretty much emcomposses all the time we spend together. We do go walking together sometimes too. For a while we were spending every second together, but then I got a new boyfriend....which is a very very good thing, but ya know, it's still good to have time with your friends. But my best friend and I are moving in together this summer and I cannot wait! We've lived together before so I think we know each others boudaries pretty well and such, so it won't be one of those things where living together ruins your friendship, haha. She is definitely the first person I think of to call when something happens, or when I need to talk about something, or complain about something :). She's a pretty incredible person all around. Much sweeter and more positive than me, but that's why we compliment each other. Although now that I think of that, I'm not really sure why she would want someone around to be meaner and less positive. haha.
Now that I've started writing I keep thinking of more things to talk about, but I need to run, so I will write more later!
